What is Apple CarPlay?

Apple CarPlay seamlessly connects your iPhone to the built-in display of your Mercedes-Benz, providing a familiar interface with your favorite apps. It allows you to make phone calls, get directions, send and receive messages, and listen to your favorite music or podcasts more safely and efficiently.

Compatible Models

Setup Guide

To set up Apple CarPlay in your Mercedes-Benz (2016 models and newer), follow these simple steps:

  1. Connect your iPhone to your vehicle using either a USB-C or a standard USB-A cord, depending on your vehicle's input.
  2. Once your iPhone is connected, follow the prompts on the center display and on your iPhone to activate Apple CarPlay.
  3. To return to the MBUX interface, select the Mercedes-Benz app from the Apple CarPlay screen. To switch back to Apple CarPlay, select the Apple CarPlay icon.

SC - SC Infrastructure Maintenance Fee (IMF), tags, title, or any other applicable taxes and fees and are not included in quoted price. Price includes $599 Closing Fee. IMF is to be paid at the time of titling and registering a newly purchased vehicle unless an exemption applies. The IMF is 5% of purchase price, not to exceed $500. In addition to the IMF, there are fees associated with titling and registering the vehicle, as well as property taxes.
